Role: Frontend Web Developer

As one of Ireland’s leading web agencies, we work on some really exciting and innovative web development projects. We have an immediate full time opportunity for a highly passionate and talented Frontend Web Developer.

You have a special talent designing stunning visual concepts. You know your way around photoshop. You can take a visual concept and slice it up into web standards compliant markup and CSS with ease. You know what the different doctypes are for. You will have played around with HTML5 and CSS3 and are keen to join a team where you will have the opportunity to further develop your frontend development skills.

Candidates should provide a link to their online portfolio along with their application including details of their role and responsibilities on each project/client referenced. A strong portfolio will be an important aspect of our selection process.

Key Requirements

• Passion for learning new skills and working on lots of different projects
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to excel in an agile team environment with our Technology and Consulting teams
• Excellent user experience design skills on all aspects of frontend design and development from initial user interface design through to graceful degradation in older non-standards compliant browsers.
• Expert Adobe CS skills as relates to frontend design and development
• Expert XHTML and CSS skills
• Strong DOM/Javascript Skills including jQuery are a distinct advantage
• Strong understanding of on page SEO best practices
• Experience with CMS platforms such as Wordpress, Expression Engine are a distinct advantage
• Strong Flash Skills are a plus
• Experimentation with HTML5/CSS3 is a plus
