Role: C# ASP.Net Web Developer

Job Description

MediaOne is seeking a C# ASP.Net Developer with a passion for building world class Web applications.

The successful candidate will be a software development engineer within the rapidly growing technical division of Ireland's leading web development company. The individual must be a highly motivated self-starter with a desire to grow his/her own skills while providing a significant contribution to the team itself.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop robust, secure and scalable ASP, ASP.net web based solutions (websites, intranet, extranet, eCommerce, portal).
• Ensuring all code complies with the highest security and technical standards
• Excellent process driven skills are a necessity, including:-
  • Experience with Test driven/Agile development methodologies
  • Strong experience with release cycle and version control management
  • Excellent ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines
  • Excellent leadership, analytical and problem solving skills
• Integration of 3rd party solutions within the technical environment

Qualifications and Skills

• Relevant Third level qualifications a necessity
• Proven history of achievement in software development.
• Excellent understanding of the Microsoft .NET platform
• Expert knowledge of C#, ASP.Net, AJAX, XML/XSLT and SQL Server 2005 / 2008
