BCM Hanby Wallace is one of Ireland’s largest law firms. Recognised within Ireland and internationally as a leading service provider to public and private enterprises across all key industry sectors. In recognition of their exceptional level of service, BCM Hanby Wallace was voted the Chambers Europe Client Service Law Firm of the Year for Ireland in 2008.
When we built the first BCM Hanby Wallace website back in 2001, the web was a much different place. Nevertheless the website had stood the test of time and served the firm well. It was now 2009 and the challenge for us was to undertake a complete overhaul of their corporate website. The objective was not just to give the website a lick of paint, but to really look at how the firm uses it’s website to communicate effectively with existing and prospective clients. The firm has grown rapidly over the past 8 years and the scale of scope of it’s operations and the calibre of it’s people also needed to shine through on the new website.
Our Strategy and Design Teams worked closely with the BCM Hanby Wallace team to create a new vision and information architecture for the website based on extensive research of international best practices and the unique character of the firm itself. We also created a new online identity for the firm complete with a full set of online brand guidelines. We devised an information taxonomy which means that key partner and service information is intertwined to make it very easy for users to quickly learn about the services the firm offers and get in touch with the right person in the firm quickly. Our Technology Team also rolled out Ektron CMS 400 .net as part of the redevelopment process to provide the firms website management team with total control over every aspect of the new website.
We’re very proud of the new website which launched in late 2009. We continue to work with BCM Hanby Wallace on all aspects of their Internet Strategy.
