PepsiCo is currently the largest snack food and second largest beverage company in the world. In 2008, the company’s 198,000 employees worldwide contributed to revenues of more than $43 billion, generating $7.8 billion of core profit. Operating in Ireland since 1974 with over 500 people employed across three locations, Cork became a flagship location in the company in 2007 with the transfer of the worldwide concentrate HQ from New York to Ireland.
PepsiCo chose to work with MediaOne because of our strong track record working with Ireland’s most well known brands. The portfolio of brands within the PepsiCo group need little introduction and are consumed by thousands of Irish consumers daily. PepsiCo continue to grow strongly in Ireland despite the challenging economic environment. PepsiCo Ireland came to us with a brief to redevelop the PepsiCo corporate website as one of the primary initiatives within it’s ongoing growth and recruitment strategy in Ireland. The challenge for us was to accurately convey the core values of the business, the wonderful brands within it’s portfolio and the multitude of career opportunities that exist in it’s three locations in Cork.
Our Design Team relished the challenge of working with the world’s biggest brands. The clear brief and the excellent brand assets made the UX and Visual Design process a joy to complete. Moving from wireframe to visual design concept was completed in a couple of weeks. Our Technology Team worked with PepsiCo IT to put in place a robust technical architecture for the new website which has been very well received since it’s launch. We continue to work with PepsiCo on the next phase of the websites development with lots of additional exciting features planned for the future.
